All About Samsung’s Galaxy S20 FE (Fan Edition)

The all-new Galaxy S20 FE (or Fan Edition) is the newest, budget-friendly S20 smartphone by Samsung.

The S20 FE comes at a very lesser price compared to the main S20 variant. The S20 Fan Edition holds a moreover flagship style. To keep the cost down, Samsung had to do this. Most of the metal and glass that was present on the main S20 unit is not there on the Fan Edition. The S20 FE lacks most of it. All that has been replaced by the similar-looking polycarbonate material that is used by Samsung on a large scale on most of its A-series handsets. The S20 FE variant; however, lacks dignity, unlike an S20+. But all that won’t matter when you will have a look at its huge 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display which is somewhere between the screen size of S20 and the S20+ variant. We cannot neglect the fact that its screen is a bit more impressive than expected by us. However, the users will have to compromise on the resolution of its display which is only 2400×1080. This resolution is lower than the main S20 variant. Individual pixels can be seen if the user presses his face straight against its Gorilla Glass 5 display.

The display of S20 FE lacks a flagship-grade clarity. However, it has a refresh rate of 120Hz and an entirely flat cover glass. The 120Hz refresh rate lets it run the on-screen activities more smoothly. With a flat glass cover display, the chances of accidentally taping something on screen’s edge with the side of your hand reduces. We see this issue in many of the smartphones, Samsung noticed it and resolved it, which is really appreciable.

This is one of the significant reasons that make the S20 FE a great device to use. Also, the device uses the same chipset which we can see in the main S20 variant. Yes, it uses the same Snapdragon 865 chipset that you can see on the expensive S20 variant. But the users will have to compromise on the device’s RAM, as it only has a 6GB of RAM, much lower to the 12GB RAM found on the main S20 and its other variants. Many users won’t be satisfied with its RAM, but come on, you will have to make some compromises if you want a much lower-priced S20 variant.

The rest of the features are almost similar and pretty hard to be argued upon when looking at the price. The S20 Fan Edition uses the similar 4,500mAh battery like the one on the S20+, and it amazingly lasts longer than the one on the S20+ variant. This is because the S20+ variant uses a super-high-res display, which consumes more battery. Another tough to complain feature is the camera of the device. The S20 Fan Edition has a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, similar to the main S20. It also offers an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with a 3x optical zoom. The overall image quality is more impressive than we expected.

Generally, when a company releases a cheaper version of any of its device, every single one of us thinks that it would not be up to the mark of the main unit and will lack many features. But Samsung has proved it to be our mere misconception and nothing else. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition offers amazing performance, display, and battery life at a very user-friendly price, which is laudable.

Kung FU Mulan Will Focus More on Individuality Unlike the Recent Live-in Action Adaptation

Directed and Produced by Chinese filmmakers, Kung Fu Mulan is an animated film that was recently released in China. It explores the Ballad of Mulan with a new perspective. The latest movie is made with a focus on traditional values to make it more appealing to the Chinese audience.
